Food and drinks
At Amma’s program in the Expo there is a large offer on delicious vegetarian food and snacks. This is all offered at very reasonable prices. The proceeds of these help to support Amma’s program and Embracing the World projects.
There is a large Indian section serving Indian meals with dal, curry, rice, raita and vegetables. There is a Western restaurant with soups, stews, a saladbar, snacks (famous Dutch veggie-croquetes!), sandwiches and sweets. The ingredients are mainly organic.
Lunch is served both days from noon until 4 pm.
Diner is served on Tuesday from 6 – 7 pm and 8:30 until midnight, and on Wednesday from 8:30 – until after midnight (will be announced).
In the Coffee Corner you can get good cappuccino, espresso, cafe americano, several kinds of herbal and black and green teas, delicious pastry and cake. We invite everyone to bring homemade cakes and pastries. Please include a list of ingredients you have used. The proceeds of the sales will of course go to Amma’s charities.
There is an Indian snack section with Masala Dosa, Vadas, Somosa, laddhus and Manga lassi, mainly from South India.
The Coffee Corner and Snacks are open from 8:30 am up to the end of darshan at night. The food court is closed during Amma’s satsang and puja (Tuesday 7 – 8:30 pm and Wednesday 6:30 – 8:30 pm).
Amma’s program is free of charge and is made possible by the work of hundreds of volunteers. The proceeds of the catering is used to cover the expenses of Amma’s visit. Any profits will go to the Embracing the World projects.
If you want to support this program either financially or in goods, please contact our greeters at the door. If you want to donate some home made pastry, sweets or cakes: please bring them to the Coffee Corner.
