Food and drinks

During Amma’s visit, there will be a wide selection of delicious drinks and vegetarian food, all offered at very reasonable prices.

The Indian restaurant will serve authentic Indian meals featuring dal, curry, rice, raita, and vegetables. There will also be a Western restaurant offering soup, stews, a salad bar, sandwiches, and all kinds of delicacies. The food at the Western restaurant is partly organic.

There is also a cozy Coffee Corner serving cappuccino, espresso, café au lait, regular coffee, various kinds of tea, and pastries. Everyone is invited to bring along homemade cakes.

New this year is the Fries Stall, offering delicious fresh fries. As in previous years, the team from the Belgian Amma Centre will provide delicious warm Belgian waffles with cherries, whipped cream, or other treats.

In addition, Indian snacks (delicacies mainly from South India) will be available.

All these food venues are generally open from 8:30 a.m. until the end of darshan in the evening.
The Indian restaurant serves a full Indian meal from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. until late in the evening.

Amma’s program in the Netherlands is free of charge and supported by hundreds of volunteers. All proceeds from the catering go entirely to the Embracing the World humanitarian projects.

If you want to support this program either financially or in goods, please contact our greeters at the door. If  you want to donate some home made pastry, sweets or cakes: please bring them to the Coffee Corner. Please write the ingredients down and use only vegetarian ingredients. Your support helps Amma’s projects.
